A Village Exchange Group: Four Organizations, One Vision
Village Exchange Ghana operates in Ho, the capital of Ghana’s Volta Region, and receives financial and technical support from three sister organizations: US-based Village Exchange International (VEI), Village Exchange France (VEF) and Village Exchange Switzerland (VES).
Village Exchange International (VEI)
VEI is a 501(c)3 non-governmental organization registered since 2002 in New York State, USA. VEI was established exclusively for charitable purposes to raise public and private funds for development programmes in Ghana promoting economic independence and micro-enterprise creation; encouraging cooperation between individuals, businesses and institutions; and creating self-help networks to facilitate the exchange of skills for the benefit of young people, especially women.
Village Exchange France (VEF) and Village Exchange Switzerland (VES)
VEF and VES were established in 2006 and 2012, respectively, for similar purposes. All funds received, donations or contributions, are paid in full to VEG in support of its field activities.
