Solar panels and electricity engineering

The goal of the Lady Volta Green Tech Academy is to train disadvantaged young people, mainly women, to become competent, skilled and professional electricians and solar engineers. At the end of the program, students will be ready to start a successful career in electrical repairs and installation, or solar power engineering. Students will also acquire all the necessary business, management and professional skills to manage a successful business and develop “lifeskills” such as autonomy, professionalism and responsibility. You give a course on any of the above topics or teach in our electricity workshop. Retirees are welcome!>>Read More Here

  • Accommodations

The VEG guest house is located in a residential area, a short taxi ride away from the town’s center.
Quiet and shared with an old and generous mango tree, the VEI compound offers a productive work environment, as well as an easy access to Ho’s services (Internet cafés, market, local “drinking spots”, restaurants, etc.)
Each room is equipped with a mosquito net and a ceiling fan. Each volunteer will have a key to his/her room.
The house also has a large number of books and a few games available. It is recommended to bring a laptop for work and to watch movies or tv programs.

    Living space

The house has three rooms that can sleep up to three people each. Each room is self-contained with a shower and toilet. Rooms within the VEG compound are either single or shared with other volunteers of the same sex, depending on requirements.
