The activities developed through the VEG Youth Centre, set up by VEG in November 2006, activities are designed to target both in and out of school youth. The purpose is to provide them with accurate and up-to-date information on sexual and reproductive health (SRH) in a manner suited to and understandable by youth. Based at the LVRC, the volunteer working on youth activities will establish contacts with youth groups from schools, youth associations, partner NGOs, churches and other sources to invite the youth to take part in group activity programs.

The purpose of these activities will be to both ensure that youth can access correct and complete information on SRH issues, but also to create a comfortable space for the youth to express themselves on these issues.

The volunteer may also take part in more wide ranging activities with youth groups including general life skills training such as literacy, numeracy, business management, computer skills, etc.
